The sucessful conclusion of the validation exercise leads to the final question. How will the validated status be maintained.

Re-Qualification. The regulatory expectation is that a plan of requalification is in place. What constitutes requalification is open to interpretation, however experience suggest that some lement of re testing on a periodic basis is required.

With the basic tenet of validation " documentary evidence that the equipment /system operates as planned" then Re qualification likewise must also be documented
