Engineer Apprentices at Parliament

Our previous apprentice, former Forth Valley student and recently qualified engineer Marc Neill (right) and Micheal Gibb (left) our new engineering apprentice, also studying at Forth Valley College, were both invited to the Scottish Parliament to provide their feedback on their experiences of modern apprenticeship to MP’s.

Both Marc and Micheal spoke to the Heads of Schools & various MP’s explaining what they did on day-to-day basis and relayed how day release worked at the college. Marc stated that he enjoyed the variation of his days working at C&M Scientific and Micheal said he has only been at the company for four months but his experience has been excellent so far.

Currently, Marc has achieved his HNC in Electrical Engineering and is now working towards a qualification in refrigeration. Micheal is presently working to achieve his HNC in Instrumentation & Control.

C&M Scientific is proud to be doing its part in supporting the next generation of engineers.
